I will push initiatives with a big impact even if they are challenging.

I will not be afraid to tackle difficult issues even if they have been left unresolved for years.

• I will keep working a problem until a resolution is achieved. This may involve small incremental steps, but there should be a long-term vision.
• I won’t just take no for an answer. I believe that all problems have a solution that can at a minimum improve a situation.
• I will be a full-time trustee. I am willing to spend lots of my own time doing my own research to build upon the information provided by village staff, talk to residents and business owners, and work to make Mount Prospect better.

• I will demand transparency in major initiatives. Stakeholders should always be consulted and encouraged to have input in any decisions that will potentially have a significant impact on their daily life or their business.
• I will strive to foster open and frank communication between village administration, trustees, and the citizens.
• I will push for important data collection. Surveys and studies considering multiple angles should be conducted when considering a large project or comprehensive plan. The detailed plans and all the data gathered should be made easily accessible on the village website. A resident should not have to search for important details in the packet of a single board meeting.
• I will not be afraid to ask the tough questions or go against the majority opinion for the good of the community. Even if I can’t solve a problem or affect an outcome, I want to shed light on the problem and issues surrounding it.
