Beth DiPrima has lived in Mount Prospect since 1997. She was born and raised in Bloomington, Illinois. Beth attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where she earned her B.S. in Biology (1988) and her M.S. in Teaching of the Biological and Physical Sciences (1990). She met her husband Dave at a University of Illinois Homecoming event. Beth is a huge Illini fan. She and Dave have been season football ticket holders since 1994.
A few years after their marriage, Beth and Dave moved back to his hometown of Mount Prospect. They have two daughters. Just like their father, the girls attended District 57 schools for 8 years and graduated from Prospect High School. Beth retired in May 2024 after spending 34 years teaching chemistry at Fremd High School in Palatine. She is enjoying having extra time to spend in her garden, and was excited to finally be able to join the Mount Prospect Garden Club. Beth is also looking forward to starting to golf more in the future.
